1. Which spelling is correct in Canada?

Canadian English follows British convention for this word, so “mould” is the standard form in Canadian government and public-health writing. Health Canada's guidance on moisture and indoor air uses “mould” throughout, as do most provincial health units.

That said, “mold” is not an error in Canada. It appears constantly in trade, insurance and real-estate documents, largely because the remediation industry and its supply chain are heavily American-influenced.
